Henge Docks stocks out in first week!

We sold what we had estimated to be two months of inventory in the first week!  We've had to switch our order system over to take preorders so that customers can reserve their place in line.  This is one of those exciting/unfortunate entrepreneurial moments, while its great that the Docking System was well received, our lack of inventory means that we didn't anticipate demand correctly. We are working with our manufacturer to speed up the reorder process and have negotiated to knock 25% off the reorder time.  Hopefully they can ramp up to handle our glut of orders.  At the same time we are working on the ramp up to production for our 7 remaining docking stations as quickly as possible.

How long do you think until the current docks are back in stock? I’m afraid my impulse buy desire is going to wear off!

Thank you Matthew! As luck would have it, the day I followed up with the order was the day the dock was delivered to my home. Over all it was a 1 week delivery from start to finish. Very impressive timeframe and my wife loves the dock. Thanks again! A. Soong

So at what point did you run out of stock? I placed my order on 4/22/2010 – 4 days before this posting. Its been 1 week and I have not received a shipping confirmation or the dock. And yes, I did submit a ‘Contact Us’ question about my order but I haven’t had any response. Please advise.

The reorder is currently in production as I write this, it shouldn’t be too much longer before we’re ready to offer them up for order.

Yup! Your spot in line is reserved, when we roll out the new models you will receive an email with a link to an order page dedicated specifically to those people, like yourself, that pre-ordered.

I pre-ordered a 15" model. Am I right in assuming that i’m in queue for that model or do I need to resubmit it? It appears you have filled an important niche. Great work!
